This outfit is inspired by Lydia from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I wanted to do something that was super layered, just like her armour. I chose brown cords, paired with a grey sweater and a dark brown leather jacket. I also chose the cutest fur hat, ever. I wanted to incorporate just a touch of fur like her in-game armour. I also chose a black backpack, making this outfit perfect for those of us returning to school in a few weeks (and you can’t forget that Lydia will always carry your burdens!). I also chose a key necklace which reminded me of all those dungeons in the game and picking endless amounts of locks. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tails of the Sonic series. Instead of just having an all yellow outfit, which would be most accurate to the character, I wanted to really accentuate and compliment the yellow by pairing it with white and burgundy. I chose a really cool yellow button up with white shorts. I also chose burgundy accessories and a large floppy hat. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Suicune of the Pokèmon series. I wanted to do a flowy, light summer outfit that reflected Suicune. I chose white shorts, with a light purple tank top and layered with a denim top - mimicking Suicune’s pastel color palette. I also chose silver square stud earrings that are similar to the diamond shapes on Suicune’s body. Lastly, I chose a matte grey watch and dark purple sandals to tie the outfit together. This outfit is inspired by Master Chief’s Armour in the Halo games (Apologies, if his armour actually has a name…I don’t play a lot of Halo). I wanted to do a biker-chic look that could be worn in summer. I chose a studded cargo jacket in his signature dark green color. I also chose black shorts and a white v-neck to compliment the jacket. I thought these sunglasses, with the orange lenses, would be the perfect imitation of his visor - fashionable and useful!
This outfit is inspired by the infamous N7 Armour from the Mass Effect series. I chose to pair leggings with a dark tunic to imitate the armour’s dark palette. I also chose a dark red bag and red earrings to replicate the armour’s accents. The earring’s long shape also imitates the armour’s back lights. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Kitana of the Mortal Kombat series. I wanted to make an outfit that was sexy, but still classy - because honestly, no one should ever wear an outfit that looks like Kitana’s in public.
I chose to accentuate her infamous blue color palette by using a bright blue sheer blouse. I paired that with a black bandeau which can be worn underneath for a hint of sexy. I also chose black skinny jeans and grey knee high boots. I wanted to bring out her signature items so I chose a fan shaped cuff and dagger-like earrings. I also chose a clutch with a brass-knuckle handle as a tough accent. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Red Angry Bird (not sure what he’s really called!) from the popular mobile game, Angry Birds.
I chose a bright red dress with a feather-y looking bottom. I paired it with a dark yellow clutch and black heels. I also chose gold accessories that mimic birds - a bird ring, a feather necklace, and a feather hair clip. This outfit is super fun mixed with some vintage charm. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Majora’s Mask from the Legend of Zelda game. I chose a dark purple top paired with dark jeans. I also added tribal looking accessories that mimic the style of the mask. Lastly, bright accessories imitate the colorful mask. (Reference Image)
This outfit is the first of our Fourth of July outfits! We’ll have a guy outfit later this evening inspired by another proud American character.
I chose a red shirt and paired it with ripped denim shorts for a cute summer look. I also chose some patriotic converse sneakers and a red and white striped bag to add a little extra to the “American” flair. When doing bold accessories like this, it’s best to keep it to a minimum so the outfit doesn’t end up looking too theme-y. Finally, I added gold accessories to dress up the outfit a little bit. This outfit is inspired by Theresa of Fable 2. I chose to pair a burgundy skirt with a detailed crop top because it mimics the layering and colors of her in-game robe. I also chose dark burgundy leather accessories and coin jewelry that imitate hers. This outfit is pretty versatile and could be worn for the office or date night. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Juliet Starling of Lollipop Chainsaw. I chose do a school girl styled outfit that reflects her character. I chose a blue pleated skirt paired with a white button up tank top. I paired that with red flats and a matching belt, that mimic her in-game outfit and a purple purse that mirrors her uniform. I also chose a simple watch with a light pink face that matches her hair scrunchies. Lastly, I chose chainsaw earring studs that look super cool - I totally want them :P (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Rinoa of Final Fantasy. I chose to layer a summer dress with a cropped denim tank. Tie the front of the shirt to create a cute summer looks. I also chose wedges and a matching clutch that imitates her in-game outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Zoey of Left 4 Dead. This was a really difficult outfit to create since her in-game outfit is so “normal”. I decided to swap out her track jacket for a plaid button up, as I think it’s much more stylish and versatile. I kept her cuffed boyfriend jeans the same, choosing a dark wash that’s universally flattering. I also chose Toms sneakers instead of her in-game converse - just so the two outfits didn’t look so matchy matchy, but you could definitely wear this outfit with converse and still look awesome. Lastly, I chose black accessories to pop against the pink shirt. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by my own personal favorite LoL character Katarina. I chose to make a biker looking outfit by pairing a hot pink top (that matches her hair) with black leather-looking pants. I also chose a necklace that mimics her belt and weapons, and a studded bracelet to match this outfit’s biker chic style. Lastly, I found the coolest Doc Martens - I think I mentioned on here before, my absolute love of Docs and the fact that these have studs on them makes them possibly the coolest boots ever. This outfit is inspired by Guybrush Threepwood of the first Secret of Monkey Island game. I chose to do a white pirate-y looking shirt, paired with blue shorts. I also chose a bright yellow bag that matches his blonde hair. Lastly, I chose a bracelet that has an eye on it to match his necklace of eye balls in a fashionable way. (Reference Image)
