I’ve scoured the webz and found these video game valentines. Hopefully they will help you on your own romantic quest.
This outfit is inspired by the lovely turrets from Portal. I wanted to keep a similar theme to my previous Glad0s outfit, so I decided to do a sexy, retro approach. I chose a beautiful white and black dress, paired with dangerous looking heels. I also added a red necklace that mimics the look of their laser targeting. (Reference Image)
These Portal 2 inspired outfits were submitted by Cameron and Amelia (You can check out her Tumblr blog here). You might recognize Cameron as a previous C2C contributor when he did his own Nathan Drake inspired outfit. Well this time he’s teamed up with his girlfriend to create Cave Johnson and Caroline inspired outfits from Portal.
I love the retro/Mad Men vibe of their outfits and I think they did a great job interpreting characters who have no real “physical” presence in the game - so kodos to them!
If you want to see your outfit on C2C, you can share it via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, the submit page, twitter, and facebook.
These outfits are inspired by the blue and orange Portals of the Portal series. I chose to do both guy and girl outfits that look awesome by themselves, but can also be worn together. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the adorable Spaaaace core from Portal 2. I constantly think that Portal inspired outfits should be business formal because of Aperture Science, so I chose to do a suit in this outfit. I chose bright accessories to match the core and add a sense of quirkiness to the outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Wheatley of Portal 2. I chose to do a modern, sleek suit with geeky accents to reflect Wheatley’s personality as everyone’s favorite idiot. (Reference Image)
Finally get some cake with this Chell inspired outfit from the Portal series. (Reference Image)
You euthanized your faithful Companion Cube more quickly than any test subject on record. Congratulations. This outfit has been tested for cuteness. Inspired by Portal’s Companion Cube. (Reference Image)
Test the day away in this outfit inspired by GladOS of the Portal Series. I chose to do a modern take on 50’s ladylike attire because of the retro feel of Aperture Science (in Portal 2) and the constrained look of GladOS in the game. (Reference Image)
