This outfit is inspired by Lydia from Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I wanted to do something that was super layered, just like her armour. I chose brown cords, paired with a grey sweater and a dark brown leather jacket. I also chose the cutest fur hat, ever. I wanted to incorporate just a touch of fur like her in-game armour. I also chose a black backpack, making this outfit perfect for those of us returning to school in a few weeks (and you can’t forget that Lydia will always carry your burdens!). I also chose a key necklace which reminded me of all those dungeons in the game and picking endless amounts of locks. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Scorpion of Mortal Kombat. I decided to do a work ready version of the killer fighter. I chose black trousers with a dark yellow tank top that mimic his color palette. I also chose rope earrings and bangles that give the same look as his weapon. Lastly, I chose flats with a skull decoration on them. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tails of the Sonic series. Instead of just having an all yellow outfit, which would be most accurate to the character, I wanted to really accentuate and compliment the yellow by pairing it with white and burgundy. I chose a really cool yellow button up with white shorts. I also chose burgundy accessories and a large floppy hat. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Sunflowers of Plants vs. Zombies. I chose to do something super girlie and cute because that’s the first thing I think of when I see the Sunflower. I chose bright yellow rain gear and paired it with a cute, retro green dress. I pulled the whole outfit together with light brown accessories. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Rikku of Final Fantasy. I chose to do a more modest approach to her outfit, because well, not everyone is comfortable wearing a bikini all the time. Instead of showing so much skin, I thought shorts and tights would be a cool alternative that’s comfortable and stylish. I chose a bright yellow top, with a really intricate lace pattern on it (It reminds me of her ruffle sleeves). Since the top is so busy, I made sure to keep the other accessories simple. Instead of a headband, I chose to do blue stud earrings and simple rings. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tallis of Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin. I chose to do this outfit today because Felicia Day (the likeness and voice of Tallis) included Console to Closet in her weekly video blog. I wanted to give back to her for the shout out, so I chose to do this outfit and based the style after her own personal look. I chose leather accessories to mimic Tallis’ belts and boots and a scarf instead of her usual hood. I also chose dagger-like earrings that imitate the daggers Tallis is known to wield in the game. This outfit is inspired by the protagonist of the Bayonetta game. Bayonetta is possibly the sexiest female protagonist (to me at least), and I wanted to capture that sexiness in a unique way. Just like Bayonetta, this outfit does not show a lot of skin, but the skin it does show is super sexy. Cutouts on the top and shoes highlight flashes of skin, and the leather detail on the pants look super hot. I chose butterfly accessories to add a sense of whimsical to the outfit just like the game’s mood. I also chose sunglasses instead of Bayonetta’s usual glasses because I think it’s more universal (not everyone will wear fashion frames). This outfit is perfect for a night out, or when you want to stand out without showing too much. (Reference Image)
Inspired by the infamous Mario and Luigi, Nintendo’s Super Brothers! I chose to do both characters a bit matchy, so that you and your friend can look totally awesome (I mean it really wouldn’t be the same effect with just one of the brothers, am I right?). (Reference Image)
