I hope you all enjoyed C2C’s first editorial shoot inspired by Resident Evil! I really wanted to capture the style and creepiness of the game combined with an edgy, grunge look. This is definitely something I want to continue to due every so often, along with the outfits, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on the shoot!
I would also like to thank everyone who helped out with the shoot. Big thank you to my fiancé Tyler for taking these gorgeous photos and basically organizing the whole thing. Thanks Virginia for being an amazing Chris Redfield and pointing me in the right style direction. Thank you Chelsea for bringing so many of your own clothing pieces and for being a spectacular model. Zombies, you guys looked great and were hilarious - Thank you Mike, Jared, and Eric “Boom” Lee. I wouldn’t be able to do this without all of you, so thank you. Special thanks goes out to Insert Coin Clothing for giving me the Chris Redfield shirt that sparked the inspiration for this shoot.

Resident Evil 6 comes out tomorrow!!! Console to Closet’s Resident Evil Week will continue tomorrow with a very special RE inspired outfit. Who do you think it’ll be? Stay tuned to find out!
This outfit is inspired by the sexy, creepy Excella Gionne from Resident Evil 5. I chose to do a dress with a deep neckline, just like hers. Now just a bit of a warning, you shouldn’t wear this style of dress if you’re very busty in the chest. If you do have a bigger chest, pair it with a lacy cami. I also chose gold accessories that mimic hers and a super creepy, but cool, necklace that has sewing needles on it. I know sewing has nothing to do with zombies, but I think it gives the outfit that creepy factor. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Claire Redfield of Resident Evil 2. My first thought when making this outfit was that I wanted to just a black romper with a pink jacket of some sort. That quickly evolved into a night look that has a hint of 80s, but is still modern and chic. I chose a black romper paired with a hot pink blazer to mimic her black dress (?) and pink vest. I also chose lighter brown boots and clutch that mimic the details on her outfit. Lastly, I chose gold accessories that really add to the 80’s look and a super cool gun ring, perfect for taking on zombies. This outfit looks awesome for a night out. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Sheva Alomar of Resident Evil 5. I chose similar colors to her default in-game outfit, along with lots of leather accessories to match her multiple harnesses and holsters. I also chose some summer-y touches: a light scarf, flats, and funky earrings. (Reference Image)
Finally, another guy outfit! This one is inspired by Chris Redfield from the Resident Evil series (this outfit in particular is more based on his look in RE5). I chose a neutral palette with military inspired pieces and possibly the coolest shoes I have ever seen. You could totally rock the necklace that came with the collectors edition of Resident Evil 5 with this outfit. (Reference Image)
