Sarah Palmer (Halo 4) by ladysnip3r featuring a bracelet watch It’s rare to come across a strong, independent female character in video games - which is why Sarah Palmer from Halo 4 is such an inspiring character to me. I wanted to do an outfit that represented her out of her armor. I chose leather looking leggings to imitate her armor’s undersuit. I paired them with a grey sweatshirt and silver chevron necklace. I also chose burgundy leather accents to replicate her armor’s color. The Flood (Halo) by ladysnip3r featuring rebecca minkoff handbags This outfit is inspired by the Flood of the Halo series. I really wanted to capture their green and coral color palette, and also pick up some of their textures. I chose a light green dress with a coral sweater, and dark green accessories. I found awesome wedges with a really cool pattern on them that replicate the flood’s gross texture. I also found a neat ring that’s sort of space-y and alien looking. Vincent Brooks (Catherine) by ladysnip3r featuring madewell This outfit is inspired by Vincent Brooks of Catherine. I wanted to do a girlie take on his casual outfit. I chose dark burgandy crop pants, paired with a cream top. The crosses remind me of the weird religious themes throughout the game. I also chose an ornate blue cuff, once again reminded me of a church’s stained glass. I found really cool cube earrings that represent the main gameplay of Catherine and a sheep necklace hinting at his uh…alter ego? Elementalist (Guild Wars 2) by ladysnip3r featuring gold plated jewelry This outfit is inspired by the Elementalist profession of Guild Wars 2. Now as someone who has never played Guild Wars, this “class” really captivated me - just on looks alone. I referenced concept art to create this outfit and I have to say, it’s one of my favorites. I wanted to really capture the fluidity of the character’s outfit by both shapes and colors. I chose a sheer hi-low dress, paired with darker accessories. I also chose pieces in a wide range of cool colors; from teal to blue to purple. I wanted it to look almost watercolor-y.  This outfit is great for summer, but can be transitioned to fall by adding tights and boots, and a cool colored cardigan.
