My Winter Must Haves
This outfit is inspired by Steve from Minecraft and is pretty simple. I paired jeans with a bright blue top and gold geometric jewelry. Simple doesn’t always mean boring and this outfit thrives on the simple details. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2. I wanted to do something childish and youthful, but with a twist of weirdness. I found a really cute, and odd, cat shirt paired with a brown leather skirt. I chose complimenting brown accessories, like the leopard print flats and a brown purse. Lastly, I chose gun earrings to add a little violence to the outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Rayne of Blood Rayne. I wanted to do something sexy, but stil appropriate to fall weather. I chose dark red pants with leather details paired with a lacy long sleeve shirt with a black bustier over top of it. I also chose the sexiest, most-dangerous looking shoes I could find. Lastly, I picked some deep red accessories to make the pants pop. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Elementalist profession of Guild Wars 2. Now as someone who has never played Guild Wars, this “class” really captivated me - just on looks alone. I referenced concept art to create this outfit and I have to say, it’s one of my favorites.
I wanted to really capture the fluidity of the character’s outfit by both shapes and colors. I chose a sheer hi-low dress, paired with darker accessories. I also chose pieces in a wide range of cool colors; from teal to blue to purple. I wanted it to look almost watercolor-y.
This outfit is great for summer, but can be transitioned to fall by adding tights and boots, and a cool colored cardigan. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Black Mage of Final Fantasy. It’s such an iconic character with it’s blue robe and yellow hat, so I chose to really highlight those features by doing a bright blue sweatshirt and yellow accessories. I chose to do a beanie because it sort of looks like a stylish version of the Mage’s hat. I also chose black sunglasses to replicate his covered face. This outfit is perfect for hanging out. This outfit is inspired by Solid Snake of the Metal Gear series. I chose to do an evening outfit interpretation of him with a black and grey palette. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Inspector Chelmey from the Professor Layton series. I chose a similar palette of browns and tans, but decided to do more of a casual take on his suit (he always looks so frumpy anyways). (Reference Image)
This outfit is the last of our Pokèmon themed day and is inpsired by the infamous Pikachu. I think my favorite part of this outfit is the contrast between the black and the yellow, it just looks super cute (That, and the lightning bolt necklace). This outfit can be dressed up or dressed down really easily by swapping out the accessories. (Reference Image)
