This outfit is inspired by Cordelia from Lollipop Chainsaw. This outfit is super over the top and sexy, just like Lollipop Chainsaw. I chose shiny high-waisted pants paired with a studded cropped top. I added a white and black blazer and accessorized with black wedges. I also found a crazy leopard print clutch to add even more wildness to the outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Steve from Minecraft and is pretty simple. I paired jeans with a bright blue top and gold geometric jewelry. Simple doesn’t always mean boring and this outfit thrives on the simple details. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Ghirahim of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I chose white pants paired with a light purple top and a dark burgundy cardigan. These colors don’t traditionally work together, but when paired with neutral accessories, they look amazing! I made sure that all my accessories were in the same color palette of light brown. These accessories also had a very geometric look to them, mimicking the character’s in game outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Boo from the Mario games. I chose a white dress with lace detail, paired with a white blazer. When wearing a white on white outfit, it’s best to have both pieces the exact same shade of white. I also chose black accessories with hot pink jewelry. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Heather Mason of Silent Hill 3. Doing a Heather-inspired outfit was really difficult because Heather’s in-game outfit is actually pretty stylish. Vests and cord skirts are very much in style, but I wanted to do something different - that still looked inspired by her outfit, but wasn’t too much of a copy. I chose to keep the vest the same, but found a darker cream color, paired with a long sleeve shirt. I also chose dark green skinny cords and brown suede booties. I chose accessories that were more brown than orange, because I think it’s a more flattering color. I found really cool earrings that reminded me of Pyramid Head of the Silent Hill series - plus, it adds a hint of creepiness to the outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Elsa Lichtmann of L.A. Noire. I wanted to do something glamorous and retro, but with a modern twist. I chose a retro silhouette, but selected very modern and simple clothing. I found a gorgeous pencil skirt, paired with a wine top and black blazer. I really wanted to accentuate the metal tips on the shirt collar, so I chose accessories that complimented it. I also chose a darker plum colored hat to tie in the retro look. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Cooking Mama, from the Cooking Mama games. I wanted to do a kitschy, retro look incorporating some bright colors. I chose a yellow dress with a 50’s cut, paired with a denim jacket. I also chose a hot pink scarf and watch, instead of a bandana. I also chose cupcake earrings and a pineapple tote bag. This outfit is inspired by Isabela of the Dragon Age series. I chose to do a summer/fall transitional outfit by pairing a denim summer skirt with a white tank top and knee high boots. I also chose a geometric necklace that reminded me of Isabela’s jewelry and leather accessories. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Borderlands 2’s siren, Maya. I wanted to do a classy version of her outfit so I chose a beautiful yellow silk top and paired it with slim cut jeans. I chose grey accessories and dark blue jewelry to mimic her bright hair. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Donkey Kong of Donkey Kong 64. I chose do to a more menswear inspired look because of DK’s tie. I chose dark brown pants with a lighter brown cardigan, reminiscent of his two tone fur. I also chose light tan accessories that mimic his lighter features and tan oxfords that tie into the menswear look. I chose gold rope jewelry and a bright red scarf to imitate his infamous red and yellow tie. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Alduin of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I chose a black cocktail dress with tons of textures that imitate his scale-y exterior. I also chose dark grey accessories that compliment the dress’s texture. Lastly, I chose silver hoop earrings with a tooth on each which reminds me of dragon’s teeth. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Lucca of Chrono Trigger. I’ve actually never played Chrono Trigger, but after seeing this character’s outfit (from a request) I really want to play it! She looks so cute and I just love the colors. I think I’m actually going to go buy this whole outfit for myself - it’s probably one of my favorites that I’ve done.
I chose to really make the most of her bright color palette. I chose a simple orange top and paired it with a blue pencil skirt. I think this outfit would be adorable with simple tights and knee high boots. I also chose to replicate her green scarf and incorporated her purple hair into the watch. This outfit may seem a little intimidating for those of you who don’t wear too much color, but I think it looks put together because of the simplicity of all the pieces. These colors may stand out, but they look great together. (Reference Image)
With the recent release of Minecraft on the Xbox360, I thought it would be fun to do a Creeper inspired outfit. I chose a box-y dress with square accents to imitate Minecraft’s cube style. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the adorable Spaaaace core from Portal 2. I constantly think that Portal inspired outfits should be business formal because of Aperture Science, so I chose to do a suit in this outfit. I chose bright accessories to match the core and add a sense of quirkiness to the outfit. (Reference Image)
