This outfit is inspired by Zelda from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I wanted to do an outfit that was both feminine and detailed. I chose a wine colored dress with a lace top and paired it with a cream cardigan. I also chose a gold detailed bag and teal flower studs. I found beautiful brown ankle boots and finished the outfit off with a teal bracelet. This outfit could be worn to work or hanging out on weekends.

Inspired by the Great Fairy from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
This outfit is inspired by Ghirahim of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I chose white pants paired with a light purple top and a dark burgundy cardigan. These colors don’t traditionally work together, but when paired with neutral accessories, they look amazing! I made sure that all my accessories were in the same color palette of light brown. These accessories also had a very geometric look to them, mimicking the character’s in game outfit. (Reference Image)
This week’s community outfit was created by Dawn Rivers and is inspired by Zelda from the Legend of Zelda. She actually wore this outfit to the Legend of Zelda live show! She took some inspiration from our Zelda outfit combining a purple cardigan and white dress. She also added gold accessories to really tie the outfit together.
This outfit is inspired by Majora’s Mask from the Legend of Zelda game. I chose a dark purple top paired with dark jeans. I also added tribal looking accessories that mimic the style of the mask. Lastly, bright accessories imitate the colorful mask. (Reference Image)
This week’s community submissions included a Renegade Commander Shepard and another Link outfit.
The Renegade FemShep (Mass Effect) outfit was submitted by Darcerentity (She’s also on Twitter - @LitchicInk). Here’s what she had to say about her outfit:
“I think the silver streaks and sparkles are a nice nod toward armor and bullets/heatsinks. The burnouts on the tank give a nice textural detail and allow the red velvet tank to show through in a nod to Shep’s N7 stripe. The narrow slacks look both practical and chic and the cargo pockets add a nice military touch. My accessories include a silver-and-coral bracelet my husband gave me and a north star necklace from my parents (both a nod to the Renegade star icon and a memento of Shepard’s love for the stars and space travel).”
I love her use of accessories - I think they really compliment the outfit and the character that it was inspired by.
The next community outfit was submitted by me - I literally tried to copy my Link outfit as perfectly as possible. The entire outfit was purchased at forever 21 for a total of $70 (Totally affordable for this much clothing!). I chose bright green shorts, a white tunic, and some very tri-force inspired accessories. Now, I know we’ve had a lot of Link outfits lately, but it’s definitely something that is summer appropriate.
This week we’ve had some amazing submissions. First, we’ve got a Sora inspired outfit submitted via Twitter by Bishylover. She really captured the nautical look with her striped shirt and red shorts.
We also have a special submission from K. Stewart, the creator of Pwn Love. She did her an outfit inspired by Link of Legend of Zelda.
“For my outfit, I couldn’t resist doing one after my favorite series. I thought the floral lace tights were a nice touch because in Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Link is from Kokiri Forest. I thought it was nice nod to the where he grew up. Plus, I need some femininity to balance out the leather,” says K.
If you want to see your outfit on C2C, you can share it via email at consoletocloset@gmail.com, the submit page, twitter, and facebook.
This outfit is inspired by Ganondorf from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I chose to do a really cool t-shirt with an interesting graphic on it that really mimic’s the feel of his armor. I also chose a dark blue cardigan, watch, and jeans. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Fi of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. This dress is absolutely perfect for the character of Fi; it has similar shapes to her cloak and the exact same colors. I would recommend not wearing too much accessories with this outfit, except maybe some longer earrings, just because it would draw attention away from the lovely sleeve on the dress. This outfit is inspired by Sheik of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I chose a pretty bold color palette to mimic the character, but with a simple shape so it’s more wearable. I also chose intricate jewelry to mirror the strings of a harp. (Reference Image)
Become the cutest little Kokiri in this outfit inspired by Saria from Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I chose lots of nature-inspired accessories and textures to mirror the setting of Kokiri Forest (where Saria lives in the game). (Reference Image)
