Inspired by Squall from Final Fantasy
This outfit is inspired by Vanille of the Final Fantasy series. I wanted to capture the tribal, youthful look of her outfit so I went with a lot of different patterns and textures. I chose a whimsical skirt, paired with a chunky oversized sweater. To pull together the color palette, wear a pink bandeau top under the sweater - only little bits of the color will show through the sweater. I also chose adorable lace printed booties and a brown leather bag. I used accessories to really draw all the colors and textures together. I found an orange beaded necklace that reminded me of her in-game necklace. I also found contrasting bangles with tribal prints to replicate the beads she wears. (Reference Image)
This week’s community outfit was created by me. This outfit was based on the outfit featured on C2C inspired by Aeris from Final Fantasy. I chose a floral maxi dress from Marshalls, paired with an American Eagle denim jacket. Finally, I accessorized with lots of bangles, from J.Crew and H&M, and a Fossil watch.
This outfit is inspired by Hope of Final Fantasy XIII. I chose to keep the outfit relatively simple because of the crazy color palette. I paired a dark green skirt with a grey tank top and an orange cardigan to imitate his outfit. I also chose accessories that complimented the color scheme and add similar shapes to his in-game outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Rinoa of Final Fantasy. I chose to layer a summer dress with a cropped denim tank. Tie the front of the shirt to create a cute summer looks. I also chose wedges and a matching clutch that imitates her in-game outfit. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Aeris Gainsborough of the Final Fantasy series. I chose a maxi dress with a simple print that mimics the shape of her dress, paired with a denim jacket. I also chose a darker bag to match her jacket and brown sandals that imitate her boots (obviously boots might look a little silly with a maxi dress). This outfit is perfect for hanging out, doing errands, etc. and is really cute for spring. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the White Mage of Final Fantasy. I chose to do a white dress to imitate the Mage’s robes, along with a bright red cardigan. I also chose flame earrings because I think they look similar to the pattern on the Mage’s robes. I paired this outfit with some quirky, whimsical accessories to add that sense of magic. This outfit could be really cute for hanging out, work, or even a date. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Black Mage of Final Fantasy. It’s such an iconic character with it’s blue robe and yellow hat, so I chose to really highlight those features by doing a bright blue sweatshirt and yellow accessories. I chose to do a beanie because it sort of looks like a stylish version of the Mage’s hat. I also chose black sunglasses to replicate his covered face. This outfit is perfect for hanging out. This outfit is inspired by Rikku of Final Fantasy. I chose to do a more modest approach to her outfit, because well, not everyone is comfortable wearing a bikini all the time. Instead of showing so much skin, I thought shorts and tights would be a cool alternative that’s comfortable and stylish. I chose a bright yellow top, with a really intricate lace pattern on it (It reminds me of her ruffle sleeves). Since the top is so busy, I made sure to keep the other accessories simple. Instead of a headband, I chose to do blue stud earrings and simple rings. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Fang of Final Fantasy XIII. I chose tribal accessories to match her wild in-game outfit, but paired them with a more simple pair of jeans and button up. This look is perfect for the weekend. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Yuna of Final Fantasy. I chose to imitate her, uh, side skirt (?) with this high-lo skirt, which is totally in style for spring. It may seem a little out there, but I’d recommend pairing it with a simple shirt tucked in. I also chose to mimic her colorful outfit with bright accessories in bold prints. This outfit is perfect for a night out. (Reference Image)
This look is inspired by Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII. (Reference Image)
