I recently reorganized C2C’s Pinterest boards and added an exciting new board: Gaming Inspired Fashion.
I’ll be posting clothing and accessories that I find online that look “inspired” by certain characters or games. For instance, above are a pair of earrings that remind me of Princess Peach - they’ve got the same colors as her dress and that ladylike style she flaunts.
One Trend, Four Ways: The Trickster
Cicero (Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim): Top: Ally Fashion - Scoop Neck Lace Top, $20 / Necklace: Wet Seal - Triangle Swag Necklace, $11

Joker (Batman: Arkham Asylum): Sunglasses: Dolce & Gabbana - Green Cat Eye Glasses, $267 / Hair Accessories: Attitude Clothing - Purple Leopard Bow Hair Clips, $7
*Please Note: Cicero is spelled incorrectly in the image, I’ll fix it tonight!

This outfit is inspired by Karliah from the Thieves Guild in the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I wanted to incorporate the multiple textures of her in-game Nightingale armor, as well as the woodsy feeling of her character. I chose black leather-looking pants paired with a longer sheer black tunic. I also chose knee high black leather boots. I wanted to feature some fall trends so I chose a black cape jacket and a dark brown floppy wool hat. The cape reminded me something a member of the Thieves Guild would wear to hide in the darkness. I also found a beautiful clutch, decorated with woodsy imagery. Lastly, I chose bird earrings representing the Nightingale and an arrow bracelet because that’s her weapon on choice. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Forsworn armor in Skyrim. I wanted to do something a little more covered up, but still maintain that wild feeling to it. I chose brown leopard print shorts with black tights and brown knee high boots. I also chose a huge, comfy grey sweater and a brown hobo bag. I wanted the accessories to really bring to life the tribal look of the armor, choosing stylish accessories that had feathers and teeth on them. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the glass armour set of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I chose this armor because I think it’s absolutely beautiful in the game and thought it would translate well into an evening look. I chose a metallic gold wrap dress that imitates the armour’s texture, paired with light green accessories. I chose jewelry that had a very glass-y look to them, further replicating the armor. *Apparently, I can’t spell so please ignore the image text spelling of armour
This outfit is inspired by Alduin of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I chose a black cocktail dress with tons of textures that imitate his scale-y exterior. I also chose dark grey accessories that compliment the dress’s texture. Lastly, I chose silver hoop earrings with a tooth on each which reminds me of dragon’s teeth. (Reference Image)
This look is inspired by the fantastic Aela the Huntress of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I absolutely love this character and actually cosplay as her, so I was a little bit biased when someone requested it. I chose a similar palette to her own clothing, but with more casual (and covered) cuts. I also chose animal themed accessories because shes obsessed with going on those animal extinction quests. Thanks for the request - I love the College of Winterhold. This look is inspired by the Mages of the Elder Scrolls series and easily translates to hanging out on the weekends or attending your own magical class at the College of Winterhold. (Reference Image)
Become one of the most deadly assassins in this kick-ass outfit inspired by the Dark Brotherhood of the Elder Scrolls series. (Reference Image)
