This outfit is inspired by Zelda from the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I wanted to do an outfit that was both feminine and detailed. I chose a wine colored dress with a lace top and paired it with a cream cardigan. I also chose a gold detailed bag and teal flower studs. I found beautiful brown ankle boots and finished the outfit off with a teal bracelet. This outfit could be worn to work or hanging out on weekends.

This outfit is inspired by the Forsworn armor in Skyrim. I wanted to do something a little more covered up, but still maintain that wild feeling to it. I chose brown leopard print shorts with black tights and brown knee high boots. I also chose a huge, comfy grey sweater and a brown hobo bag. I wanted the accessories to really bring to life the tribal look of the armor, choosing stylish accessories that had feathers and teeth on them. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tiny Kong from Donkey Kong 64 (which I’ve been super into lately). I chose to do a Lolita style outfit with an emphasis on feminine, yet young clothing. I chose a romper instead of overalls and paired it with pale yellow accessories. I chose vintage accessories and a flower necklace. This outfit is perfect for summer. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Claire Redfield of Resident Evil 2. My first thought when making this outfit was that I wanted to just a black romper with a pink jacket of some sort. That quickly evolved into a night look that has a hint of 80s, but is still modern and chic. I chose a black romper paired with a hot pink blazer to mimic her black dress (?) and pink vest. I also chose lighter brown boots and clutch that mimic the details on her outfit. Lastly, I chose gold accessories that really add to the 80’s look and a super cool gun ring, perfect for taking on zombies. This outfit looks awesome for a night out. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Night Elf of World of Warcraft. I chose to do a classy, but sexy look to mimic her, uh, revealing outfit in the best way possible. I chose a cool palette of purples and blues, just like her skin and hair colors. I also chose some intricate accessories that are similar to her armor’s detail. This outfit could be super awesome for work with a jacket or cardigan, or even a night out. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by the Maw of the arcade game, the Maw. I chose to do this character because it’s so fun and bright and I thought that would translate to a really fun summer outfit. I chose primarily purple with splashes of green, similar to the palette of the character. To balance out these bright colors and to keep them from becoming overwhelming, accessorize with light neutrals. (Reference Image)
This outfit is inspired by Tallis of Dragon Age 2: Mark of the Assassin. I chose to do this outfit today because Felicia Day (the likeness and voice of Tallis) included Console to Closet in her weekly video blog. I wanted to give back to her for the shout out, so I chose to do this outfit and based the style after her own personal look. I chose leather accessories to mimic Tallis’ belts and boots and a scarf instead of her usual hood. I also chose dagger-like earrings that imitate the daggers Tallis is known to wield in the game.
